My Classmates
Assalamualaikum…
For this entry I would like to share to all of you a little bit about my classmate. In BEL311 class, I have 23 classmates including me and what interesting is all of us are girl. Our BEL311 lecturer is Mr. Izuan.

2. Syahirah
I called her Sya. For me she is nice person and what I realized that she become more stylish this semester. What I know about her is she likes very much watch Korean drama.

3. Zulaika
I call her ‘kecik’. She is good student where she involves in Debate club where she become good speaker and can speak well in front all people. Although she busy with her club activity, she can get good result.

4. Isma
From my opinion, her character like boy. This is because she little bit brutal and ‘slumber’ person. She is not arrogant person beautiful girl.

5. Azlina
She is in part five this semester. I don’t know much about her because she new in our class. She told me that she likes to change class and so that she can get knows new friends.

6. Erin
What I can say that she is not snobbish but her face always surly. I always realize that Erin too serious in class and sometimes I scare to greet her.

7. Nabila
I call her Nabil. Her age is 19 and that mean she is our younger sister in class. She is slim and her face mostly likes Chinese.

8. Baizura.
Her closed friend is Zulaika. In class, I see she is quite person but I know she is actually talkative person.

9. Eza
She is tall person and good in fashion. Besides that, she is friendly person and has a good looking.

10. Adila
I call her dila. She is in the same wing of college with me. For me she is good friend, she has helped me lot when I need help, thanks to Dila.

11. Aishah
I called her Sha. I think Sha is friendly person where is not arrogant toward others, she also talkative person.

12. Jannah
I don’t know how to describe her but for me she is moderate person and she not talks many with me.

13. Shakira
Although I see she in class is not talk much but she also joint the debate club. This proves that she is good student.

14. Misnahaini
I called her Mis. Her closed friend is Shakira and she is quiet person. She is good and kind person.

15. Amalina
I called her Mon. Mon is closed with Nabil and Isma. She is quite chubby and not arrogant with me.

16. Kak Azie
She is our sister in class because her age is 21 this year. For me she is cute and her face also most likely Chinese because her eye is narrow. Besides that, she also joint in debate club.

17. Isya
I can say that she is chubby person and sometimes she like to bother me.

18. Dayah.
I think, she talkative and brave person. I always go to class with her in part one. Her closed friend is Sha.
19. Fatihah
She is tall person. She is clever person where she always gets good result.

20. Miza
She is our class rap. She quite popular among classmate may be because she is clever person. I also quite closed with her and I will tell with her if I have any problem.


21. Huda
She is pretty girl, in class I can see that she is quiet person but outside class she is talkative person. Sometimes Huda will be in bad mood and that why she become quiet.

22. Elena
She closed with Izati. For me she is calm person, not arrogant with me and also humble person.

23. Izati
Lastly, Izati is tall and slim person. She not talk much with me may be because I am quiet person but I know she is kind and nice person.

Valentine Day

What actually valentine day? Why people greet this festival? Valentine also knows as festival of love. I am quite astonished that Islamic people also greet this festival. For those still do not know, let me tell to all of you some of my own opinion and fact about this festival. After read all this, I hope that we as Muslim should avoid from greet this valentine day.

According from what I have read, Valentine days come from pagan Roman, in the pagan Roman concept; it was an expression of "spiritual love". They consider this festival as important in their religion. The Romans used to celebrate this event in mid February each year with a big festival. One of the rituals of this festival was the sacrifice of a dog and a goat. Two strong and muscular youths would smear the blood of the dog and goat onto their bodies, and then they would wash the blood away with milk. We can see that, this festival is not good especially for Muslim. They do this festival because it is their belief of religion and tradition, but what about Muslim person. I want to ask whether in Islam, there are tradition of greet valentine day? Surely, it is not accept in Islam.

In Islam, it’s totally different because we have pure religion, we believe only to Allah. Although this Valentine day is like normal matter but there are rule in Islam that limit the behavior of all people. Actually Islam does recognize happy occasions that bring people closer to one another, and add spice to their lives. However, Islam goes against blindly imitating the West regarding a special occasion such as Valentine’s Day. Islam requires all Muslims to love one another all over the whole year, and reducing the whole year to a single day is totally rejected. There 2 type of love that religiously accepts and do not accept. Among the forms of love that are religiously acceptable are those that include the love for our Prophets Muhammad. It stands to reason that the love for Allah, and His Messenger Muhammad should have the top priority over all other forms of love.

So, I think we as Muslim should have awareness that Valentine is not our tradition. It’s the tradition from west. We should know that people who are heathen always make something to all Islam people so that we will follow their religion and tainted our belief to Allah. One example of the way the try to influence us by make Valentine day. For those do not have strong belief to Allah surely will follow this false tradition. As we can seen today, most of us greet this festival without having feel guilty. I want to ask whether in Islam, there are tradition of greet valentine day? Surely, it is not accept in Islam.

After all that I have said, I hope we together will work together to reject all this kind of festival that do not make benefit to our life. We as Muslim must know what is good and not.






Where is love…

We always heard about loves but actually what is the meaning of loves. There are 2 kinds of love, our love and God's love, but God makes both kinds of them. For these times I would like to share to all of you what is the real mean of loves. This is real story of my friend about her life and love. I just want tell to all of you so that we can make this story as lesson in our life.

This story started when my friend told me about her life when we was in form one. She told me that she does not have family like other people have. I don’t understand at first, but from her face I can understand that she is in trouble. She has a big family but her father doest’t have responsibility toward her family. She told me that her father is a fierce man that she had never meets before. In her eye, I can see how she face this situation, I know she don’t get loves from her father like other person gets. She continued that her mother is very strong person in this world. Her mother work hard to take good care her siblings and never give up in facing all the problem in their life because she knows that Allah is always besides to people that be patient.

Every times she told me her sad stories, I will cry because I sympathy with her life and I don’t think that there are people like her father that don’t knows the mean of loves. My friend is good student although she has lots of problem and do not get love from her father but she thank to god because give her mother that loves her very much. She always got good result in exam and she told me that she wants to become doctor one day. She also told me that her family full of fear, this is because if her father was in homes, nobody brave to make noisy. Even if her brother cried, her father will mad and sometimes will do something bad toward her brother. Not only that, she said that her father will mad and beat up with something if someone make mistake even though it is a small matter. Her father always scolds her mother, but her mother still will be patient because she thinks of her children and still loves her family.


My friend always told me that she shies because has such a father. But I advise to her to be more patient, if me in her shoes I also will feel the same. I am proud of her because she still can smile and be a good student. In this condition, her mother has to find income so that her family can go on with their life. So we know that her mother is busy with her work and do not have enough time to spend with her family and this is another sad thing of her life. Actually, her father is not lazy person but he don’t want to contribute toward his family may be he want to be rich only for himself. Sometimes, I saw her always alone and not eat anything in school. I tried to ask her but she refuse to tell me, may be she shy and want go far from me but I know she does not want to burden me.

Now, I realize that how important love in our life. But loves to Allah is still the most important because Allah is our creator and because of that my friend is accepting of what happen in her family. I hope one day she will become somebody who is very successful and also be a strong person. We should make this story as our guide that there are other people that do not have good fate as we get. In our life, we need of loves but don’t make love as our destination in our life.

FACT ABOUT MYSELF

Assalamualaikum, everyone. Although we have friends but we do not tell all about ourselves to other person, it sometimes become private to our own self. This time I would like to share with all of you about 10 facts of myself that you all do not know.

The first fact is I am hot-tempered person. May be you all will not believe that I actually fierce person but that is the truth especially at home. My younger brother and sister is the person who is always making me angry everyday. I actually don’t like to scold them but they always make me angry. My younger sister, Aisyah especially don’t want listen what I said to her. If I told her to tidy up house, she refuse to help me and order me to do on myself, then how can me patient with her attitude but when she have homework she want to ask me. Sometimes, I feel like being crazy to scold them everyday.

Secondly, I like to do work alone at home. This is because when I told my brother and sister to help me, they refuse to lend a hand and then I will do on myself. Besides that I think it is better for me because if I do house work together, it will make the work become longer time to finish and the important thing is I don’t like if there are someone scold me when I doing work. I admit that I am a bit slow at doing work and this is my weakness. I still remember when I in primary school, my sister always told me to do house work and sometimes, she will scold me if I make mistake. But thank to god that now I become a person that not lazy to do housework.

Thirdly, I don’t like to go out for shopping. It is little bit different right, if I see now most of girl like to shopping and in my family I the only one who don’t like to go for shopping. For me it is only will waste of my money and time. For all of your information, if my family goes out for shopping, I prefer to stay at home because I don’t like the crowd and noisy place. I think it better for me to watch television at home than walking around shopping complex. If I want to buy something, I will go there and I will go back fast, I don’t like to scrutinize thing that I don’t interested.

The other fact about me is I like and good at cooking. This is one of my talents that not all people have. As women, we should know how to cook because it important when we married later. We don’t have to waste our money to buy from outside everyday. My mother has taught my sisters and me how to cook since in primary school. I still remember that my sister always told me to help her cook where I little by little knew to cook. I know to cook ‘Asam pedas’, ‘Masak lemak’, ‘curry chicken’ and even ‘Rendang’ I also know to cook. My sisters and I know to cook except my younger sister because when I told her to help me cook, she refuse to help me.

For your information, I also like to sing at home. When I get boring at home, I will listen to music. I like slow genre of music because it will make me calm and joyful. When there is nobody at home, I will sing because I shy to sing if someone at home. I like song of 1990 such as band of ‘Damasutra’, ‘Xpdc’, ‘Ukays’ and others. Sometimes, my sister will call me ‘jiwang’ because I like that genre of music. Besides that I also like ‘Nasyid’ songs. Although I know that most of us like to listen to music, but we should not forget Allah and we have to remember Allah instead of listen of music every time.

Other than that, I also like to watch Hindustan movies. When my family watches these movies then I feel interested to watch together. I don’t know why, when I watch Hindustan movie, I feel happy. It is because the movies contain music and also dance. When I at home I will watch Hindustan movie that usually at Saturday. Besides that, I also like to watch Tamil movie. The movie is normally funny that why I like to watch it.

The other fact about me is I like to sleep early at night and wake up early in the morning. I don’t know how there are some people that sleep late, sometimes I try to sleep late but I can’t do that. During the semester break, I will sleep at 9 pm because I do not know what to do after that. Even if I watch television I still will feel sleepy. One things that I not like is I don’t like wake up late because my mother has teach me since child to wake up early and I don’t like see person who get up late.

The seventh fact is I will always cry if someone scolds me. That the only thing that I can do because I don’t like to scold them back especially to person who are older than me. I will become more touching if my mother scolds me. I still remember when I still child, almost everyday my mother scolds me because I am stubborn person but the only things I can do is cry.

Other than that, I also don’t know how to ride motorcycle. I want try but I feel little bit afraid because I has experience fall from motorcycle and I get injured when I am 13 years old. After that I don’t courageous to ride anymore. My mother always told me to try ride motorcycle but I still refuse to do that. She asks me to like that so I can help her to buy things at shop but I refuse as I am a stubborn person.

The last of my fact is I scare to sleep alone and in dark. I as a girl being normal to have feelings like that. I have experience that I could not sleep until morning because at that time my family is not around, can you all imagine how I go through all the night. I try to kip my eye but I still can’t sleep and the only thing that I can do is cried and I hoped that I will sleep.

My Pet

Many of us love animals. We keep them in our homes as pets. We feed and keep them clean. We play with them and they make us happy. I have cats at home and I like to take care of my cats. Cats are animal that easy to take care but there are some people do not like cat as it can make their life become trouble. But for me it will help to make me happy and we as Muslim should know that our prophet Muhammad loves cat and why not we as normal person don’t like cat.

For all of your information, I have 4 cats at home. The name of the cat is Remut, it is the mother for the 3 other kittens, which is Comel, Tompok and Cupin. Tompok and Cupin have just born two months ago. My pet’s names are given by my younger brother. He likes very much to play with cats. I like Comel the most because it likes to play with me and sometimes it like to disturb me when I do my homework. From all of my cats, Remut is the most hard to take care because it is too choosy when comes to meal. It only eat dish like chicken and fish. Remut don’t like to eat rice and that why sometimes I will angry with Remut. Because it demand is high in matter of food, it cause Remut become smaller than Comel.

At first, the cat was found by my younger brother at a playing park near my house and that time was rainy. The cat was in injured condition and then my brother took the cat back to home. I feel sad because I know that there is someone who throws away that cat. For me that person does not have humanity toward animals. After that, my brother and I cleaned and treated Remut. One month later, Remut become well and I feel happy because that cat is safe and grow healthier. One month after that Remut give birth a kitten that is Comel. Remut loves its kitten as when my brother try to take it kitten, Remut will mad with my brother. It shows to us that we as people should also love each others.

A cat is a pampered animal, it goes the same to my cats. My cats like to come to people so that we can stroke them. I still remember that Remut will wait for my brother to come home from school almost every day. Besides that, it will sit on my sister’s lap and it love to be stroked on its head. Another story about Comel is when it was still kitten, it likes to play with my leg. One thing that I can’t forget is Comel had bitten my leg when I was sleeping. Sometimes I will mad with Comel and on the other site I also will laugh saw my cat does like that. When I get bored at home, I will play with them and clean their body and I feel happy by doing so.

So, in our life we must know that we as people have own self responsible, we cannot life alone as we need each other. We should show loves to animals as it is also creature of Allah. I hope that can take care of my own pets as I can make my life happier. I finish my story here and we will see later in my next entry. Bye-bye..

Subject This Semester

Hi everyone, we meet again in this next entry. This year I am in Part 3, for this semester I have to take seven subjects to fill the University requirement for this semester. It includes BEL 311, CTU 241, BMD 101, QMT 216, ECO 211, FIN 262 and Co-Curriculum. The entire subject I take in group D3D1 except for BMD 101 which is in group D3D2.

The first subject is English for Academic Purposes and the code is BEL 311. The assessment for this subject include 30% for term paper, 20% for speaking test, 10% for attendance and another 40% for final exam. The pre-requisite subject for this subject is BEL260 and this subject worth 3 credit hours. Besides that, the lecturer in BEL 311 is Sir Izuan bin Ismail. Before this he has teach me in BEL 260. For me, he is strict lecturer and sometimes I feel fear in his class, but we know that he wants us to improve ourselves. Truly, this subject is not my favorite subject but I know it is important to learn English. I hope and try to get better result in this semester and I target to get B in BEL 311.

The next subject is CTU 241 which is “Asas Ekonomi Islam”. The assessment for this subject is test (15%), assignments (15%), presentation (10%) and final exam (60%). Other than that, the credit hours for CTU 241 are 2. The lecturer for this subject is Ustazah Siti Aishah bt Sokhubul Fadil. When I first see her, I know that she a good person where she knows about matter of religion. We as student not only need to learn about other subject but also in Islam because we as people need to remember Allah always and to get the blessing from Allah so that whatever knowledge we earn will be always remember. By learning this subject, it will make me know better about Islam and for CTU 241 I target to get A for it.

The third subject I have to take for this semester is QMT 216 that stands for Introduction of Statistic. The assessment for this subject is test 1(10%), test 2(10%), project (10%), assignment (10%) and final exam (60%). The credit hour for QMT is 3. Besides that, the lecturer for this subject is Prof.Madya Ruhana bt Zairuddin. She is a good lecturer where she not only teaches this subject but also will advice and give motivation to us to be better person, I impressed with her because she also know much about Islam and this make me feel interested in her class. This subject is the most favorite subject for this semester because I like mathematic subject, may be some my friend know that I like subject that have calculation and for QMT 216, I target to get A.

Other than that, I also take Macroeconomics subject and the code is ECO 211. The assessment for this subject is test 1 (10%), test 2(10%), quizzes (10%), assignment (10%) and another 60% for final exam. This subject has 3 credit hours and the pre-requisite subject for this subject is ECO 162. The lecturer for this subject is Miss Siti Nordiyana bt Ishak, she still single. The first impression when first I see her is that she is very happy lecturer and friendly with student, so it makes me easy to ask her if I have any question. I also like this subject as it also have calculation and I target to get A in this subject this semester.

The next subject is Fundamental of Finance and the code is FIN 262 and it is worth 4 credit hours. The assessment for FIN 262 is 15% for test 1, 15% for test 2, 5% quizzes and assignments, 5% for lecture’s personal evaluation and 60% for final exam. Besides that, my lecturer of FIN 262 is Madam Norsaliza. I think she is good and have lots of knowledge as she good in teaching. I hope that for this subject I would know better about financial and thus will get good result in exam and for this subject I also target to get A.


Than, for this semester I also need to take third language. So, I more prefer to take Mandarin than Arabic. The code is BMD101 and it is worth 2 credit hours. I think to get job, if we know third language it is extra opportunity to get job and more company now want the worker that know language especially Mandarin. For Mandarin, it is not have final exam but student need to do assignment. The lecturer is laoshi Lim Yoon Chong. When first I see him, I feel happy because he was a happy lecturer and friendly, I feel easy to learn in his class and not feel stress.

The last subject that I have to take is Co-Curriculum. For Co- Curriculum, I take Red Crescent Society, the code is HBU 134 and it is worth 1 credit hours. I take this subject from part 1 because I think it can teach me how to save others when in injure condition. So that I can practice and have consideration to help other people not only when in University but every time. Likes others subject I also hope that in this co-curriculum I will get A.

Lastly, I hope that I will more success and get flying colors results for this semester and another semester, “insyaallah”. That all about subject that I have take this semester. We will see again in another entry.

My name is Roslaili binti Suratman. I am 20 years old this year. My date of birth is 11 November 1990 and the place of birth is Pogoh, Segamat. Now, I live at Kampung Sedeng, Segamat. My father names is Suratman bin Ros, he works as farmer and my father have palm tree farm while my mother name is Zaiton binti Abdul Hamid. I have big family with 12 siblings and I was number 10. I have five sisters and a younger sister, four brothers and a younger brother. All my brother and sister has been work except me and my younger brother and sister. I am a simple girl, shy and a quiet person.

Like other people, I also have my own ambition. I want to be Bank Officer and become successful person someday. It’s not easy to become a successful person, so I try my best to become one of them. Then, my hobby at leisure time is read book, magazines. I also like to cook. When my mother is working, I was responsible to cook. My favorite food and drink that I like mostly is 'mee bandung' and fresh orange. I also like gardening and also watch television. I planted many type of plant. For example is hibiscus, orchid and many mores. To make sure that the plant is growing well, I sprinkle the water everyday. I also put fertilizers on them.

I start my education from standard one to six at Sekolah Kebangsaan Lenga Muar. Then I continue my study at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Lenga from form one to five. After spm, I only get offer from form 6. Then I have no other choice and I hope that there has other offer from University. After one week, I got offer from Melaka matriculation with science course and then I decide to go there. At matriculation, I feel very difficult to study and we need to struggle in study. After one month and half, I decided to quit and hope that there has other offer from University. On November 2008, I got offer from UiTM and from there, I think it is the best opportunity for me to continue my study.

Now, I already part 3 in Diploma in Banking. There are so many things that I have to face to achieve until this stage. I get many experiences and knowledge. I also get many friends. I always hope that I can study well in this course. My friends and I are work hard in study to achieve our goals. Sometimes, we make group discussion to make an assignment. We try to become a successful student. Hopefully, my friends and I will success in whatever we are doing. That’s all about me.
